Terms of play

These are the house rules of RoamFu, written plainly so they can be read on a phone.

Playing safely and respectfully

• Coins go on public, outdoor spots that are safe to reach on foot. Never on private property, never at a school, daycare, playground or hospital, never near roads, rail, water or cliffs.
• You are responsible for your own safety while roaming. Look up from the phone.
• Respect every place: no trespassing, no damage, nothing left behind. A coin is a mark on a map, not an object.
• Notes and photos must be about the place. Nothing hateful, sexual, illegal or that identifies another person.

Your account

• You must be 16 or over. One account per person.
• Your username is a permanent public pen-name. Choose it with care and don't use your real name.
• Don't fake your location or automate play. We flag implausible movement and may remove coins or accounts that cheat.

Moderation

Members can report any coin. Moderators can hide, move or remove coins and content, and can warn or remove members who break these rules. Removals are logged and, where it was an honest mistake, the Blank used to strike the coin is returned.

Changes

RoamFu may change, pause or reset. We will say so before anything is reset. There is no charge for roaming and nothing in RoamFu has monetary value.
